Stefanie Lattner, MSBE, MBA, is the founder and CEO of Polus Corp., which is developing technologies that enhance cognitive performance. She began her career as an electrical engineer working on torpedo countermeasures for a U.S. Navy contractor. After receiving a master’s degree in bioengineering and working in radiology research for the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center for many years, her career progressed as she headed technology research for Respironics where she was the inventor on more than 20 patents, predominantly in neural stimulation. With the goal of turning inventions into companies, she pursed an MBA from the University of Michigan and graduated with distinction. As an executive in residence at Innovation Works and vice president of strategy at XL TechGroup Inc., she participated in the startup of numerous medical device and biotech companies after which she launched Polus Corp.
