Lisa Cazares is the lead scientist and Director of the Proteomics/Metabolomics Mass Spectrometry facility at USAMRIID, where her research interests include the development of mass spectrometry techniques for metabolite profiling, host pathogen protein interaction studies, and the discovery of biomarkers of infection. Cazares has 20 years of experience in mass spectrometry and has authored more
than 50 peer-reviewed publications in microbiology, prostate cancer protein profiling, metabolic tissue imaging, and clinical proteomics.
