The 26th annual Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force (OCDETF), held at Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, is cosponsored by the three U.S. Attorney’s Offices in North Carolina and the District of South Carolina. Additionally, the conference is receiving additional sponsorship from the North Carolina Justice Academy, the Regional Organized Crime Information Center (ROCIC), and the North Carolina Sheriffs’ Association.

The agenda for the event is focused on the tools in the narcotics officers’ trade by utilizing breakout sessions over two of the three days of the conference. Additionally, there will be case studies outlining various relevant topics for law enforcement in the drug realm, such as how to investigate overdose-related death cases, drug trafficking cases, large narcotic and gang-related cases; how to work with cooperators; basic financial investigations and money laundering cases; and current law enforcement testimonials.
