The University of Chicago (UChicago) and Argonne National Laboratory have been selected by the National Science Foundation (NSF) to lead an effort to plan and design robust infectious disease predictive models. This is part of the NSF’s Predictive Intelligence for Pandemic Prevention initiative. Part of the goal is to make pandemic modeling and prediction more automated, allowing scientists and researchers to get ahead in the fight against infectious diseases.
