This year’s symposium will focus on how the WMD landscape has changed in recent years and will continue to change, and the new administration’s approach to addressing key challenges and issues. Senior officials and experts will discuss administration priorities, alliances and partnerships, challenges and successes, and approaches to geopolitical relationships in a changing world. Issues to be addressed include nuclear weapons policy, chemical weapons use, arms control and nonproliferation, biodefense, emerging technologies, and requirements, plans, concepts, and capabilities for countering WMD.
