Anthony Stefanidis, Ph.D., is a professor and chair of the Department of Geography and Geoinformation Science at George Mason University and the director of Mason’s Center for Geospatial Intelligence. His research
ocuses on harvesting geospatial intelligence from social multimedia and other open-source content and on digital image analysis. Some of his work on social media analysis is featured in http://geosocial.gmu.edu/.
