Dr. Rodney Coldren

Rodney Coldren is a physician board-certified in Preventive Medicine/Public Health. He retired as a Colonel in the Army Medical Corps in June 2021. He has worked in emerging infectious disease surveillance and response as well as infectious disease epidemiology. He served in the US, Korea, Kenya, Thailand, Iraq, and Germany. Key assignments include the Chief of Disease Epidemiology at Army Public Health Center and the Public Health Emergency Officer for US Army Europe/Africa. Additionally, he is an Associate Professor of Preventive Medicine at USUHS. He is excited to bring his experiences to the table, continuing to serve the Army family.
