Edward Davis is an assistant professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Auburn University (Ph.D., University of Akron; MSE, Tulane University; BSE, Tulane University). He maintains active research projects in the fields of nanocomposite processing, controlled release, and shape memory polymers. Davis’ teaching efforts include the development of a course on nanotechnology for asphalt engineers. His research interests include natural nanomaterials, nanocomposite processing, and mechanical testing of structural systems.
