Dr. Jacob Yadegar, CEO, UtopiaCompression Corporation (UC) has over 30 years of R&D experience in academia and industry where he led projects on computational intelligence. Before founding UC, he served as Chief Scientist and VP of R&D for Woosh, Mohomine, and Orincon in the US. At UC, he has generated computational intelligence technical proposals and acted as PI for numerous federal projects worth over $30M. Dr. Yadegar served as a leading scientist at British Telecom Research Lab where he led $2M projects in network management using distributed AI. He served on the faculty at Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine – University of London, and the Open University, and post-doctoral at University of Cambridge. He has supervised M.S. and Ph.D. students and published numerous papers at conferences, universities, and research centers. Dr. Yadegar has contributed to and is one of the holders of several patents at UC and one
with British Telecom.
