U.S. Customs and Border Protection, SURVICE Engineering Company

Krysalyn Gerhardt is a forensic/analytical chemist onsite for the DHS Customs and Border Protection Teleforensic Center as a SURVICE Engineering contractor. She analyzes Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy and Raman spectra, while also assisting in the detection of opioids illegally entering the United States. Ms. Gerhardt holds a B.S. in forensic science from George Mason University and an M.S. in forensic chemistry from the George Washington University
