Liqun Lu is pursuing a Ph.D. in civil engineering at the University of Illinois, Urbana Champaign (M.S., University of Illinois; B.S., Zhejiang University, China). His research interests include modeling and analysis of interdependent infrastructure systems, random graphs, and epidemic dynamics and control. At Illinois, he has participated in several different research projects funded by state and military sponsors, one of which won the Outstanding Technical Plan or Study Merit Award from the Federal Planning Division of the American Planning Association.
