Mercouri Kanatzidis, Ph.D.

Mercouri Kanatzidis is a world-renewed solid-state chemist and has discovered many novel materials with promising properties and technological applications, especially for thermoelectric and solar cell radiation detection. He is a leader in the field of halide perovskite research and leads bottom-up design synthesis and characterization. He has patented multiple inventions on CsPbX3 materials for radiation detection which will allow for initial technical optimization, product realization feasibility, and low-scale manufacturability.
