Olaf David is a research scientist for the Department of Civil Engineering and the Department of Computer Science at Colorado State University (Ph.D., Technical University, Germany; B.S., Friedrich Schiller University Jena, Germany). He leads the design and development of the Cloud Service Integration Platform and Object Modeling System, which is extensively used by the United States Department of Agriculture and other government organizations. Previously, he served as assistant professor for the Department for Geography at the Friedrich Schiller University in Jena, Germany.
