Rich LaFountain is a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Human Sciences at Ohio State University. His research interests include cardiovascular physiology and military optimization through diverse diet and training interventions. His dissertation research focused on the effects of an extended-duration ketogenic diet and training intervention on physical performance outcomes and cardiovascular adaptations in military personnel. Rich has a B.S. in biology from the College at Brockport, State University of New York. He received a M.S. and Doctorate in Kinesiology from Ohio State University.
