Dr. Ryszard Wycisk is a research associate professor in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at Vanderbilt University. He has more than 25 years of research experience in polymer membranes, electrochemical sensors, fuel cells and batteries. During the last decade his work has focused on electrospinning of nanofiber-based ion-conducting membranes, electrodes and sorbents and on manipulating the morphology of nanofiber mats to achieve the desired characteristics of a targeted end-use device.
