Yanfeng Ouyang is George Krambles Endowed Professor, P.F. Kent Endowed Faculty Scholar, and D.B. Willett Faculty Scholar at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. His research focuses on complex infrastructure systems and operations management, with applications to military and civilian industries. He has contributed to more than 100 peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters, and more than 300 conference presentations. Ouyang has served as a (co-)principal investigator of more than 60 research projects for federal, state, and industry sponsors. His work has been recognized by many awards, including the
American Society of Civil Engineers Walter L. Huber Research Prize and the National Science Foundation CAREER award
