Mr. Zhongxiang Wang is a Ph.D. candidate and a graduate research assistant in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Maryland, College Park. Mr. Wang also served as a research assistant at the Center for Advanced Transportation Technology. His main research interests are mathematical programming, network modeling, vehicle routing, traffic data analysis and their applications in transportation. He is a recipient of the Transportation Research Board’s Dafermos Best Paper Award in 2017, and is a Distinguished Faculty Fellow at the University of Maryland.
