HDIAC Medic in Austere Environments ATI

Posted: April 17, 2023

Deadline: May 2, 2023

The Homeland Defense and Security Information Analysis Center (HDIAC) was tasked with finding relevant peer-reviewed publications, equipment, and training that discuss the required knowledge and skills for medical personnel at the point of need in an austere environment. Medical personnel may be required to conduct disease nonbattle injury prolonged care with only the resources on hand. Specifically, HDIAC is looking for what knowledge and skills maximize return to duty rates, overcome contested logistics, and allow the medical team to optimize ground, sea, and air evacuation.
