Continuous Improvement Coordinator, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)

James Fey serves as a continuous improvement coordinator for FEMA Region 9 in Oakland, CA. He is responsible for conducting after-action reviews as well as facilitating change management to implement subject matter expert recommendations, with the end goal of addressing areas for improvement and capitalizing on best practices. He and the whole FEMA Continuous Improvement Program are working to provide collaborative and consistent services while empowering customers to improve their programs, processes, and decision making. Their vision is a culture of learning within emergency management, where change is deliberate  and improvement is championed for a more prepared and resilient nation.
