Can you provide information on a recently developed white paint that reflects sunlight?

In support of government research related to mitigating the energy needed to maintain cooling technologies, the Homeland Defense & Security Information Analysis Center (HDIAC) was asked to provide information on white paint that reflects sunlight. There was interest in the capability of the “whitest paint” developed by Purdue University, which immediately showed promising results in testing. HDIAC contacted their product’s research group and manufacturer with specific questions relating to the needs of the inquirer, as well as general information useful for any application.
